Biography
Garry Boswell, Deputy Director of Information Services for the City of Simi Valley, has over 30 years of IT leadership experience in various agencies and mid-sized governments. He has overseen the IT infrastructure of various departments during his tenures at different agencies, boosting productivity and building a strong, agile workforce. His experience implementing software solutions allows him to have a dynamic approach to leadership and project management that benefits team members, saves money, and improves operations. Garry has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Decision Systems from San Diego State University, he’s received the Certified Government Chief Information Officer (CGCIO) designation from Rutgers University, and he is a Local Agency Security Officer (LASO).
