Jennifer Lampman is the Director of Finance for the City of Placentia. Prior to joining the Placentia team, she served as the Finance Director for the City of Fountain Valley, Budget Manager for the City of Huntington Beach, and as a Senior Management Analyst for the cities of Riverside and Anaheim. During her twenty-year career in local government, Jennifer has advocated for long-term financial planning, transparency, and working with operating departments and the public to increase their understanding and knowledge of the budget. Having overseen diverse Finance operations such as utility billing, payroll, implementation of an ERP system, and treasury, Jennifer recognizes the diversity in skills needed in today’s Finance department, and by raising twin 11-year-old boys, she’s experienced firsthand the need to manage people differently to achieve success. Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies and Planning from the University of California, San Diego and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from California State University, Fullerton.
